The Denver Broncos will kick off the season on the road against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 1. Here is everything we have on this game.

The Denver Broncos will hit the road with rookie quarterback Bo Nix at the helm in Week 1. They will face a decent Seattle Seahawks fans who will be boosted by their loud fans at Lumen Field on Sunday. It will definitely be a hostile environment for the rookie, so a very important early season test for him and this offense.

The tempering of expectations is normal, but when Head Coach Sean Payton was asked what his expectations were of this team he gave some ideas of what the floor should be for this team week in and week out.

“I’m never one to make predictions at the start of the season,” Payton said last week. “I think it’s about playing well early. I talked about that. What does that mean? We can’t get off to the start we did a year ago and dig ourselves in a hole. I think that’s important. I think the leadership is ever evolving because there’s been a number of former leaders and former captains that were here that aren’t. So it’s a process.”

Those concerns from last year were all shared by us fans. You need a special group of players to overcome a start like Denver had last year. They need to stay ahead of the chains in the win-loss column every bit as much as they do on drives.

Here’s to a very good start to the 2024 regular season for the Denver Broncos.

Kickoff is set for 2:05 p.m. Mile High time on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington. You can watch the live stream of the game through FuboTV or on CBS.
