The former Pro Bowler will be re-united with Dennard Wilson

The Tennessee Titans have finally filled their need at safety by signing veteran Jamal Adams. The former All-Pro will be reunited with Dennard Wilson who was his coach with the New York Jets. Adams has spent the last four seasons with the Seattle Seahawks.

The biggest question here is how will he be a culture fit in the locker room. There have been some issues with that at his previous stops. Wilson is obviously familiar with him, so he probably vouched for him before the signing.

The Titans never really filled the void at safety last year after Kevin Byard was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles. Adams will join Malik Hooker on the backend of Wilson’s defense.

A lot of people around these parts wanted the Titans to draft Adams back in 2017 when they selected Corey Davis with the fifth overall pick. Adams has obviously had a better career in the league than Davis. We will see if he can help the team now seven years later.
