Bears 2024 training camp preview: Quarterbacks

Chicago Bears training camp is just around the corner, which means it’s time to start looking ahead at the roster the team is bringing to Lake Forest.

We’re unveiling our Bears 2024 training camp position previews, where we’re breaking down every player by position and examining the biggest question facing the group.

It starts at the most important position: Quarterback, where all eyes are on rookie Caleb Williams, who enters arguably the best situation for a No. 1 pick QB ever. He has an arsenal of weapons at his disposal, including the trio of DJ Moore, Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze, along with a potential top-10 defense. While Williams shouldn’t be expected to have the kind of success C.J. Stroud did last year, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him thrive early in these circumstances.

Tyson Bagent is back for Year 2 as Chicago’s backup. Elsewhere this offseason, the Bears signed veteran Brett Rypien and undrafted rookie Austin Reed.

Let’s take a look at the Bears’ quarterbacks heading into training camp:
