Crew goes for series win on Father’s Day

After a 3-1 win over the Cincinnati Reds in a Saturday afternoon battle, the Brewers will look to take the series in the rubber match on Father’s Day this afternoon.

Colin Rea is on the hill for the Brewers, coming off arguably his best start of the season. He went seven innings in a victory over the Blue Jays, allowing one run on just three hits and no walks with four strikeouts. He’ll face off against Frankie Montas, who had a rough go last time around against the Cubs, allowing four runs in just 1 13 innings.

Christian Yelich bats third as the DH today, with Jackson Chourio, Blake Perkins, and Sal Frelick making up the outfield and the bottom third of the order. Joey Ortiz, yesterday’s hero with a three-run homer, bats sixth, with Jake Bauers at first base as Rhys Hoskins gets the day off.

First pitch is at 1:10 p.m. on Bally Sports Wisconsin and the Brewers Radio Network.
