Both the Chicago Bears (3-8) and their fans are trying to recover from the hangover caused by Sunday’s game that saw the Detroit Lions (8-2) bounce back from a 12-point deficit and pull out an unlikely 31-26 win.
Chicago accomplished everything they needed to win, but they have developed habits that contribute to losing football, and those habits came back with a vengeance. This article was supposed to be one of elation and praise for our Bears punching way above their weight and taking down one of the best teams in the NFL. Instead we’re left picking up the pieces and trying to figure out what went wrong.
